This past weekend I had the opportunity to attend and photograph Vintage Market Days of St Louis. This event has been in St Louis since 2013 and I have either been a vendor or attendee at every single one. To read more about my experiences at each one GO HERE.
If you aren’t familiar with Vintage Market Days, they are an upscale curated vintage market that started out in Oklahoma and have expanded to cities all around the U.S. They are as far west as Utah and as far east as Coastal South Carolina and Georgia… and growing! Just a couple years ago they were only in the midwest. It’s fun to see how popular it has become!
Today I thought it would be fun to take you with me (if you didn’t get the chance to attend)! Each day I did a few Instagram Stories so I’m including them in today’s post, and sharing some beautiful images that I captured over the weekend as well.
One of the things I love about Vintage Market Days is that the vendors aren’t your typical flea market vendors where stuff is just spread out in any old fashion. Each booth is planned out ahead of time, with backdrops, arrangements, and artful styling.
Aren’t these wicker-wrapped jugs so beautiful? One of each please, thank you!
Chanda, a good friend of mine and the owner of VMD in St Louis, arranged for a stylist from California, Gale Brisa, to come out and teach a quick styling and vignetting demonstration, pulling things from several booths.
She then handed out a flier with her simple 8 step process for every vignette she does. This is what she created:
Here are some lovely shots from Bella Vintage. They are always one of my favorite booths.
JMG Design has been a vendor at every VMD and they always have something pretty:
Aren’t these stamped, stacked books so cute! And don’t even get me started on that teal-blue, chippy tackle box. From Hoosier Sister:
MCS Home is owned by and husband and wife team and I always love how they sets up their farmhouse booth:
I loved the moodiness and vibrancy of this Live Boho display… so clever to put those crates on the wall for sort of a shadow box/shelf hybrid:
Spellbound Collections always has the largest booth, which never disappoints. They are from Texas and Chanda met them at Round Top!
My friend, Kristy from Stapley Dolls, went all out for her darling homemade doll display! Every year I think her dolls get cuter and cuter!
On Day 1, Miss Jubilee came out with her band and sang all day. She has such a cool sound and it is hard not to tap your feet along to their music.
Marigold Trading Co:
Pheona’s Vintage Market with the bench that made me weak in the knees:
This was ReNue Home Studio, and I thought this kraft paper roll-up grocery list was such a cute idea! I need one of this in my kitchen!
This is another I don’t know and couldn’t find their booth name anywhere, but it was where we got Owen’s metal letters. Isn’t that farmhouse table to die for?
And here is my Day 2 Instagram Story:
At the entrance/exit, they have this little photo op set up for you to take pictures with your vintage finds, so Owen and I did just that!
Oh and after I shared that clip of the blue and white quilt for $85 that I wanted so bad but didn’t get, I got a lot of messages from so many of you telling me to go back and get it! By the time I got around to calling Chanda and asking her if it was still there, (about 2 hours later) it had sold! (Insert crying face emoji) I haven’t seen a beautiful quilt like that for under $100 in a long time and I totally regret not picking it up. It goes to show… DON’T HESITATE WHEN YOU SEE SOMETHING YOU LOVE!
Two more from Bella Vintage:
I don’t remember this booth’s name for sure, but I think it is Cabin Creek Mercantile. They had a lot of good stuff, including this buffet that I was drooling over:
The flower bar that I shared in my video used this aqua trailer and funny enough– they rent out that little trailer for weddings, parties, etc for all kinds of pop-up bars! The Wandering Sidecar
Another from Spellbound Collections:
Here is another booth that was new and with just stunning displays, The Coop. Check out this windmill action:
And how doesn’t love vintage stamped crates with bottles? I mean… all the heart eyes!
This booth was in the far right front corner– a guy named Beans came all the way from New York with his goods and this old mechanic’s cabinet was by far the stunner of his space:
Day 2, we were serenaded by another vintage style singer,
From Jo’s Vintage Goods:
Jo is most well-known for her reclaimed St Louis signs:
By day 3, I was busy with some family stuff before Easter, cleaning and going grocery shopping, so I couldn’t make it over there. It’s just as well, because I KNOW I would have spent money that I shouldn’t have, since the last day of the market is the best day to make a deal. 🙂
I feel like I’ve already bombarded you with so many pictures and there were A LOT that I didn’t even get to! Ah, well… if you get the chance, Vintage Market Days in St Louis is one NOT TO MISS! Next one will be this fall in October (dates to be announced).
Thanks for coming along with me!

Do you know if there is another one scheduled for this year in STL? I couldn’t get over there this past weekend.
Rachel says
I’m not sure when it will be but, like I mentioned in the last couple sentences in my post, there will be one in the fall!
Kate says
Wow! Thanks for sharing … I would have loved to go. Saw several things I would have grabbed too!

There is a gypsy caravan at the Family Arena on Memorial Day. It’s supposed to be good!
Angie says
Do you know who the vendor was in the main tent area who sold the ruffled arm ‘sweatshirts’ and cardigans?
John says
Her name is Pam and she is a Springfield MO vendor. She has been a part of the market since Eureka. She will have her clothing at the soon to reopen Pheona’s Vintage Market in the Springfield area. Like Pheona’s page or mine, JMG Design for info on opening. Unfortunately Pam doesn’t have a page. I love her creations. I bought one for my mom and she loves it!
Rachel says
Thank you so much John! And as always, if you are familiar with one if he 3 spaces that I didn’t know, please tell me and I’ll correct it asap!

Oh, wonderful “stuff” ~ displayed beautifully! Makes my heart go “pitty pat” just seeing everything there for the shoppers! (Wish you could share the tips for styling and vignettes from Gale Brisa.) I live in Dallas, so it’s definitely quite the road trip =). to St.Louis!
Thanks for sharing these great pics, Rachel. Maybe something will work out so we’re able to get up that way for a future event.

Hi, there! Thanks for this lovely post, I love it all. This is Sarah from Liberty’s Closet Designs. I know it’s incredibly anal of me to ask but would you mind correcting the name of our business on your post? (The pic with the skylines.) Just in case anyone sees it and wants to search for us. Thanks for indulging me and love your blog!
Rachel says
Not anal at all! I am so glad you said something! I went ahead and updated with a link to your Facebook page too! xo
