With Christmas approaching soon, I wanted to do something a littler different and decided to share 4 different stocking stuffer gift guides. I’m starting with 15 ideas for Stocking Stuffers for Girls– all under $50. My target age range is girls between the ages of 5-8 or 9, although many of these ideas would be suitable for both genders!

Having a daughter right in the middle of that age range (a 6 year-old), I thought I’d share some things that I would buy to fill her stocking this year. I also was careful to select items from Amazon that have good reviews and are part of Amazon Prime, so that you can get free shipping (if you are a Prime member) and make sure the delivery is before Christmas if you order by Monday.
So here are my picks! Affiliate links are used below for your convenience.
This cute toy shoots rainbow striped foam balls up to 20 feet!
Hook this up with the bluetooth on a tablet, smartphone or computer to play music, and sing along. I love how compact it is!
I know these had a major moment about 6 years ago, but they are still one of the easiest and most fun ways for kids to learn to make bracelets without close supervision.
Unlike most water-based nail polishes, these ones are non-peelable. So they are a little more durable (unless you soak your nails in water then they peel right off). Pretty colors and perfect for girls just learning to paint their nails!
This baby plush hedgehog is so dang cute, I almost want him for myself! And I love how small he is– only 5″ wide, 5″ tall, and 8″ long.
All you need is a soda can and 1 AA battery and you can make a mechanical robot or monster. Great introduction to robotics while also teaching about recycling. And for that price? You can get an army of them if you want!
I remember playing Skip It (the early 90’s version of this) as a kid and LOVING it. This version is updated with the LED lights and it has great reviews!
This book is filled with animal patterns and all the corresponding shapes and colors of stickers for kids to fill in the pictures. This is also an Amazon best seller children’s book, and it is paper-back so it can bend to fit in a stocking.
Darling kitty cat headphones with fully adjustable head strap and soft cushions for ears. I don’t know about your kids, but mine (especially my daughter) is obsessed with headphones and those ear buds don’t really fit their ears. Cushioned headphones were a huge help when we were flying down to Brazil this past year.
These sweet walkie-talkies have a 2 mile range, 3 channels, and a built-in light. Definitely a step up from most walkie talkies I see in the store.
While my 6 year old isn’t quite ready to see the actual Wonder Woman movie, I’m ALL about incorporating some female super heroes into her life, starting with Woman Woman. If your girl already loves Legos, this would be a great addition to her collection!
Every single child and even a lot of teenagers I’ve seen around these finger lights, love them. They have little elastic bands on them, a switch and give off a decent amount of colored light.
Raise your hand if you remember Mr Sketch scented markers in elementary school? I absolutely loved those things, especially the grape one! Markers in my house gives me hives, so these scented crayons are the way to go!
These are just adorable and what girl can ever have too many lip glosses? 😉
I always feel like paper-back books are a great stocking stuffer and try to make sure my kids ask Santa for at least 1 book every year. Amelia Bedelia cracked me up as a kid and even now, both my daughter and I are thoroughly amused by her interesting interpretations. Great starter set of beginning chapter books.
I hope this was helpful to those of you looking for stocking stuffer ideas for your girl… Merry Christmas!
