A couple months ago, I finally revealed our boys’ shared bedroom makeover with lots of custom details and small projects I added to make the most of the small room. One of those small projects was this DIY Bedside Book Shelf that I built from scrap wood I had in my garage.
This was a super simple project that even if you have to buy the wood you need, is cheaper and easier to customize than similar versions I’ve seen at Land of Nod and other children’s home decor retailers.
I actually shared this project last week and a link to the plans in my post about 9 creative storage ideas for small spaces, but I figured this little book shelf deserved his own post (also so it would be easier to find)! 😉
I love how this very simply adds a little organized storage for some books, magazines, or even a clip-on lamp if you wanted. It is ideal for a bed that has to sit next to a wall, or in this case, a top bunk.

Looks amazing!!! Can I ask where you found the soccer ball art? I LOVE it!!!!
I made it but there are a few shops on Etsy that make them too!
Cute room! Such a great idea to have a little bookshelf next to their bed for some bedtime stories!
Thanks a million.
