My friend, Courtney Allison from French Country Cottage, recently released her brand new book and I wanted to share it with you today! I’m also offering a Fall floral printable I drew, inspired from one of her photos.
Over the years, I have had the privilege to meet and become friends with some of the best talent out there. Among those is Courtney. I’ve admired her blog and photos for years, and first met her at Haven Conference a few years ago. She doesn’t brag or boast about her accomplishments, and she is often more reserved and quiet when you meet her in person, but she is gracious, humble and willing to teach and help anyone that approaches her. Her passion is evident in everything she does.
Courtney’s style is distinctively French romantic vintage in her California cottage, and I can recognize her photography anywhere. She’s been a part of our Seasons of Home Series for the past 3 years, so if you may recognize her work too!

Here are a few peeks of what is inside the book:
Courtney is also the editor of Romantic Homes Magazine, a new position she took on last year.
The book is basically a tour through every part of her home (including bathrooms and closets), and the outdoor spaces, and then the last half of the book is filled with inspiration for celebrations, and Autumn, and Christmas. It is seriously such a feast for the eyes. It’s one of those books you want to keep out on display, on your coffee table, to just flip through.
It’s a thick book, and has so much content, along with some beautiful personal stories.
It currently is sitting on my sofa table, styled with below my new living room art.
Here is Courtney’s styled shot of the book:

As I mentioned, Courtney’s photography and styling inspires me all the time and when I saw this photo from her blog, of dahlias and roses in an amethyst goblet, with pretty drippy pink and white candles in brass candlesticks, I fell in love.
I asked Courtney permission, and she allowed me sketch the photo (with a few minor changes) and offer this colored pencil art as a free printable. Just click the photo below to download the photo and print it at home! Remember this is for personal use only and by downloading the image you agree not to distribute, reproduce or use this art in any way for personal or professional gain.
Let me know what you think of my fall floral printable and I would LOVE if you check out Courtney’s book!
