Friends! I am super excited to share with you two announcements… first? The Home Depot is hosting a fun DIH (Do-It-Herself) workshop to make a jewelry organizer on Thursday May 18th, and I’m joining in on the fun! The Home Depot sponsored my participation and a week from today I’ll be sharing my creative version of this:
Super cute as is, right? And all you really need is a drill to make this thing since Home Depot cuts the wood for you. However, my version is totally tricked out, but STILL all you need is just a drill once you get all your pieces cut! I added 2 new functions to this jewelry organizer and I’m stoked with how it turned out. I’ll give you a little hint– I added a secret compartment! You don’t want to miss it!
If you aren’t familiar with Home Depot’s workshops here’s the scoop:
The Home Depot offers Workshops at all of their locations for do-it-yourselfers of all ages and experience levels.
○ There are three types of Workshops offered – Do-It-Yourself (DIY), Do-It-Herself (DIH) and Kids.
○ Customers can learn how to build décor projects, how to make easy home repairs and how to operate tools through demonstrations and step-by-step instructions.
○ Visit http://workshops.homedepot.com to learn more!
I would LOVE for you to sign up for this DIH workshop at your local Home Depot!
The second bit of news is as you are reading this I’m enjoying the sun, sights, and sounds of Rio de Janeiro! YES! I’M IN BRAZIL! I actually completed this project last week and got it all photographed and ready to go so I could share with you it’s awesomeness while I’m gone. This project is so simple though… I’m tempted to make of these while I’m here, as a mother’s day present for someone. 🙂
I’ll be posting this week sharing some pictures from our adventures, and be sure to follow along in my Instagram stories if you are interested!
