I’m doing a rare Saturday post because I want to tell you about something that I received recently, that is so special and I love a lot : A handmade sign from Between Me & You Signs. I asked for custom word art of my favorite hymn, How Great Thou Art, and they made something that will be hung in my home for years and passed down to my kids.

I love how I’ll start to read the words when I walk by and the song gets stuck in my head. God truly is great.
It is quite large (4′ x 2′) and I wanted to display it in a place that would be seen often, but also that wouldn’t compete too much with molding, or other large frames or pieces of furniture. This spot in our dining room couldn’t be more perfect. It is part of the connected dining rooms and kitchen that is the place our family spends the most time.
I also played around with it on top of my buffet/console table in the living room and it looks gorgeous there as well, so I know I have several options, should I want to move it around the house. For now though, it is a spot that always makes me smile and often get a little emotional.
How did I get so lucky? I have beautiful, smart children who forgive me so easily…
A husband that would do anything for me, and a home I love. It isn’t big or grand or expensive from an outsider’s perspective, but it is mine. And I feel so abundantly blessed. I don’t think I deserve it all, but I will give thanks at every opportunity.
…And I will share my talents and help others the best I am able, to show that thanks.
