How to Install Kitchen Tile Backsplash

December 16, 2015 Rachel 7 Comments

We are getting closer to the fuller kitchen makeover! I shared design plans last month, and on Monday I shared how to install butcher block countertops. Today I’m sharing my tutorial on eHow on How to Install Tile Backsplash! Before I send you over, here are a few pictures of what difference backsplash makes!

I mean… isn’t it incredible? I bought the MS International Arabescato Carrara Marble Herringbone Pattern and I could not recommend it enough! It is absolutely beautiful. For grout I used some tubs of Fusion Pro grout in Ice Crystal I was given by Home Depot at Haven Conference, and was a special Designer Series product, which I called Glitter Grout, because it looks like natural stone glittery specks are in the grout!

It is incredible how much this tile backsplash elevates the look of the kitchen and totally brightens it. The light reflects and it is now so enjoyable to cook in here! All the heart eyes still for my Cassidy Kitchen Faucet from Delta…

    Hi,

Can you tell me where you bought your kitchen sink? Has it held up well against scratching?

    Thanks!

It’s from Ikea, but this exact one is discontinued. No scratching… we clean marks with Bon Ami.

I love your makeover, all of them. It looked like you had a 5 inch border around your counter tops. Our cabinets and granite look great. But we were going to do a back spash rising above the counteracts. What would you suggest!
