Milk Painted furniture Dressers in chippy white and pink floral hand painted

Today I’m sharing a couple more dressers heading to Vintage Market Days this weekend! This first one was in sorry shape and I had sitting around for several months.

Dresser Before

I kept hoping someone would buy it for a custom order, but alas, it eventually befell my creativity. I was inspired by a floral inlay dresser at Anthro and created my own design, hand painting it.

I used a custom mix of MMS Apron Strings with Ironstone, then I used white wax on top to keep the tone very soft.

DecorSteals sent me these knobs to try and see what I thought… I love them! They are larger than what is typically found at Hobby Lobby, and I have a soft spot for ceramic knobs… They are also today’s deal on DecorSteals and my reader’s get a jump start on buying them if you want! You can buy a set of 4 HERE!

I love how MMS milk paint chips and the variation in tone you can achieve… everything ranging from a raspberry color to a yellowy-orange!

Decor Steals also sent me some white and blue ceramic knobs, and I knew I wanted to have something white and chippy to use them with! MMS Milk Paint in Ironstone did the trick!

White chippy painted dresser

I went thrifting and found a bunch of blue and white ceramic vases and pots, and felt they would look so pretty all grouped together… bringing out the same pattern in the knobs.

Some cool crazing happened with this dresser… in several places, including the top!

These knobs are also the same size as the white ones.. much larger than what I’ve found with a similar shape and design at other stores. It makes such a statement without being too bold, don’t you think?

My friend, Jen from Girl in the Garage, also did a fantastic dresser makeover using DecorSteals ceramic knobs in black! Her’s is so classy with an awesome design.. you gotta go look! Click HERE!

Thanks for coming by and if you loved either of these dressers and want to see them in person, come to St Louis Vintage Market Days this Friday (12-6), Saturday (9-6), or Sunday (10-4)!

And, if you loved these knobs like I do, be sure to snag some on DecorSteals TODAY! They will be gone by tomorrow or sooner if they sell out!

If you want $5 off your order and you haven’t signed up with DecorSteals yet, Click HERE and my referral will get you $5 off your first order! I also get $5 off my order, so it’s a win-win! 🙂

Happy Monday!

These are gorgeous! I’m in love with the pink-ish one! Stunner! Did you free hand paint the roses on? And your staging is impeccable as well! Love it all!!!

Beautiful. I came across this post when trying to find out from what year is my dresser. It looks very similar to the one that you refinished in pink. Do you happen to know from around what year is the dresser?
