Good morning my peeps! Today I wanted to share with you a fun announcement sponsored by the Home Depot– A saweeeet new Home Depot Workshop will be coming your way very soon! This one will be all about making a DIY Stocking Post! I want you to build this with me!!
Cute idea right? This is great for those of us who don’t have a fireplace with mantel, or perhaps don’t have a conveniently located fireplace where their tree fits best. If you have more than 4 stockings to hang, you could even make it taller (with a couple layers of hooks), or make a couple to put on both sides of the tree or room.
I will be joining in the fun NEXT WEEK via a virtual workshop hosted by my buddy Brad from Fix This Build That.
Here is a little bit about Home Depot Workshops if you haven’t heard of them….
The Home Depot offers Workshops at all of their
locations for do-it-yourselfers of all ages and
experience levels– so anyone can get their DIY on, no excuses! 😉
○ There are three types of Workshops offered: Do-It-
Yourself (DIY), Do-It-Herself (DIH) and Kids.
○ Customers can learn how to build décor projects,
how to make easy home repairs and how to operate
tools through demonstrations and step-by-step
○ Visit http://workshops.homedepot.com to learn
I just knowwwwwww you are dying to build a Stocking Post too 😉 haha! So make sure and register for the workshop that will be held at your local Home Depot on
SATURDAY NOVEMBER 19th, at 10-11:30AM.
If you attend, make sure to share your project with us and use the hashtag: #DIYWorkshop so we can see your awesomeness!
Now, next Monday I’m going to be sharing my unique customization on this project, and I have a few ideas rolling around in my head. If you have any suggestions I would LOVE to hear it! I can’t wait to get starting building this week and share with you what I come up with!
Just to jog your memory, here are a couple virtual workshops I have participated in with the Home Depot:
